We are immensely pleased to invite you to the 2024 Ball of the Guédés, an event filled with depth and celebration in honor of Haitian culture, heritage, and the veneration of ancestors.
This year, the theme of our celebration is “Ancestral Drums.” Together, we will delve into the cultural significance of traditional drums, vibrant tributes to the ancestors, promising an immersive and unforgettable experience for all our guests.
The Ball of the Guédés is much more than just a party; it is an occasion for spiritual communion through the rhythm of ancestral drums, celebrating the spirits of the deceased in the Haitian Vodou tradition.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, we are excited to introduce arts and crafts stands this year, hosted by our talented artists and performers, providing a platform to showcase and sell their unique creations.

👗 Dress Code: Cocktail attire in black, white, or purple

We have also prepared a dedicated space, the “Tab Ofrann Gede,” in honor of Bawon, Grann Brijit, and the Guédés. You are invited to bring an offering to contribute to the altar. Offerings may include, but are not limited to: money, rum, herbs, flowers, perfume, or fresh fruits.
It is also a wonderful opportunity to discover unique products specially created for the Guédés season, such as boutey piman (pepper bottles), elixirs, and ritual baths.
