Frequently asked

What people ask us.

Can I come without booking?

Of course, and you will be well received. But tables go fast: the weekend brunches and Thursday evening sell out first. Booking costs nothing and guarantees your table.

When are the brunches?

Every Saturday and Sunday, 12 to 3:30 p.m.: the Tchaka brunch on Saturday, the Joumou brunch on Sunday, alongside the summer brunch menu. Booking strongly advised.

Do you have vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Yes, on every service. Tell us about allergies when you arrive or when you book, and the kitchen builds around them.

Can you host a group or a private event?

Yes: large tables, corporate evenings, celebrations, or the whole venue. See the events page or write to info@makayacanada.ca.

Is there a terrace? Is the venue accessible?

A terrace in season, a full bar, a private room and Wi-Fi. The bistro is accessible. Place-des-Arts and Square-Victoria métro stations are a few streets away.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, valid at the bistro. Values of 25, 50, 100, 200 and 225 $. Write to us and we will arrange it.
